Surman Gent who was buried April ye 19th An. Dom. 1678.	To the memory of Philip and Joseph sons of Thomas Surman Gent. Philip died on the 13th day of April,1679 Aged 22 and Joseph left y lifeon the 17th day of Jan.1686 aged 26.	Here lyeth the body of Ann the wife of Thomas Surman who departed this life y 30th day of March 1695 Aged 40. My children all pray agree to serve the Lord and follow me.
	[Inside Church on flat stones] Here lyeth the body of William Packer Surman Esq. who departed this life Y 7th day of January 1764 Aged 60. And also the Bodys of Wm. and Ann Son and Daughter of the above Wm. Packer Surman Esq. Ann died Jan. the 17th 1747 aged one year and 10 months. Wm. Died March the 9th 1747 Aged 11 months. Here lieth the Body of Elizabeth Daughter of William Surman Esq. who died the Nineteenth day of January 1761 Aged 60 Years.		Here Resteth the body of William Surman Gent who departed this life April the 12th 1794 aged 46 years. Here resteth the body of Mary the wife of the above William Surman Gent who departed this life December the 7th, 1796 aged 45 years. Also in Memory of William Surman Gent: son of the above William & Mary Surman who departed this life December 16th 1798 aged 27 years. Likewise to the Memory of John Surman Gent who departed this life the 27th of June 1816 Aged 65 years. And to Mary Surman sister to the above John Surman who died November y 27th 1831 Aged 79 years.
Formerly surrounded with Palisades for John Surman, Esqr. who died1687, and others of the same family.	In most loving memory of John Surman of Tredington, Lieutenant of the Co. of Gloucester died 3 February, 1889 aged 83 years. Also Elizabeth his faithful wife of 52 years who died at Tredington Court May 17th 1892 aged 78 years. Where I am there shall also my servant be.
